Getting started
Switch the Naffes CRM interface between Arabic and English
Naffes CRM runs in Arabic, right to left, by default, and English is the other interface language. Each user picks their own, so a manager can work in Arabic and a colleague in English on the same data at the same time.
Three ways to switch
From the header (desktop)
Click the globe icon in the top bar and choose Arabic (shown in Arabic script) or English. The interface and its direction switch at once.
From the account menu (any device)
Click your avatar to open the account menu and pick the language near the bottom. Use this on a phone, where the globe is hidden to save space.
From your profile
Open Settings → Personal → My Account → Profile, change the Locale field and save.
It is saved for you
Your choice is stored on your profile, so it follows you to other devices. It also travels with every request, so text generated by the server arrives in your language too.
What the language changes
| Item | In Arabic | In English |
|---|---|---|
| Page direction | Right to left, with mirrored arrows and spacing | Left to right |
| Calendar weekend | Friday and Saturday | Saturday and Sunday |
| Stage, source and loss-reason names | The Arabic name, if entered | The English name, if entered |
| Numbers, amounts and percentages the app formats | Digits 0-9 | Digits 0-9 |
| Month and day names | In Arabic | In English |
Example: a sales director works in Arabic and a rep prefers English. When the admin gives a stage an Arabic name and the English name Negotiation, each sees it in their own language on the same board. Leave the second name empty and everyone sees the same one. Entering both names is covered in set up a pipeline and stages.
What the language does not change
- Arabic and English are the only interface languages.
- The app does not detect the browser language; it starts in Arabic before sign-in and for new accounts until the user picks English.
- The date and time format saved in Region & formats or on your profile does not currently change how dates look inside the app; they follow the interface language.
- The interface language does not translate your data: a customer's name or a message stays as written.
Questions
Questions 2
Does switching my language change it for my colleagues?
No. Language is a personal setting, and your choice affects nobody else.
Why did the app open in Arabic when my browser is in English?
Arabic is the default and the browser language is not read. Switch once from the account menu and it is saved on your profile.
