Free CRM: start on Naffes without paying, and know where the limits are
Naffes CRM has a forever-free plan that covers the core CRM for one user, and every new workspace also gets a 14-day trial with every feature unlocked, no usage caps and no card. When the trial ends, the workspace drops to the free plan instead of being locked, and your data stays.
Two ways to use Naffes for free
You do not pick one up front. Each new workspace starts on the full trial and settles on the free plan afterwards, unless you subscribe. Here is how the two compare:
| Detail | Free plan | 14-day trial |
|---|---|---|
| How long | Forever | 14 days from the workspace's signup |
| What you get | The core CRM: deals, contacts, companies, tasks, notes, conversations and quotes | Every feature, shown as the Pro plan |
| Usage caps | 1 user, 1 pipeline, 200 contacts, 50 deals and more (below) | None |
| Card required | No | No |
| When it ends | It does not | The workspace moves to the free plan with all data kept |
Use the trial to judge the whole product, including automation, email and reports. Stay on the free plan if one person's pipeline is all you need to manage.
What the free plan includes, and what it leaves out
The free plan is a complete sales workspace for one person. It opens with a ready five-stage pipeline, from qualification to won, where each stage carries a win probability and a typical-days budget. Deals show as a table or a Kanban board you drag cards across, link to contacts and companies, and carry tasks with due dates and reminders, notes, and quotes built from the deal's products and downloadable as PDF.
| Limit | Free plan |
|---|---|
| Users | 1 |
| Pipelines | 1 |
| Contacts | 200 |
| Companies | 100 |
| Deals | 50 |
| Leads | 50 |
| Automation workflows | Not included |
| Storage | 100 MB |
Left out: email inside the CRM, the integrations marketplace, reports, automation, meetings and documents, all of which start on Starter. The help desk, the AI assistant, forecasting and data quality come with Pro. These gates are enforced on the server for every request, not just hidden in the interface.
Included on every plan, the free one too: an Arabic-first interface with full right-to-left layout and English as the alternative, pipeline and field names you can set in both languages, and invoicing your own customers, with a receipt for every payment you record.
How the 14-day trial runs
- Sign up in four short steps: your email, a 6-digit code sent to it, your name and password, then a company name suggested from your email domain. You can also sign up with Google or Microsoft if those buttons appear on the signup page.
- Verify the owner's email to unlock everything with no caps, shown as Pro. Until you verify, the workspace runs a Starter trial.
- Watch for two reminders, 3 days and 1 day before the end.
- After day 14: the workspace moves to the free plan. Nothing is locked and nothing is deleted.
A common question: what if you imported 600 contacts during the trial? They stay. The server checks caps only when something new is created (a contact, lead, company, deal, pipeline, workflow, file upload or user invitation) and refuses what would exceed the limit, with an upgrade prompt. The billing page shows live usage gauges, so you can see where you stand before the trial ends.
At signup, the workspace's country, currency and time zone are set from your browser's time zone (Asia/Riyadh, for example, sets Saudi Arabia and SAR), and you can change them later.
Who the free plan suits, and when you will outgrow it
It fits people who sell on their own and want a system instead of a notebook and scattered chats:
- a freelance consultant who sends a few quotes a month and turns each accepted quote into an invoice;
- a solo property broker keeping about 150 prospects in one pipeline with dated follow-ups;
- a founder shaping the sales process before hiring the first rep.
You will outgrow it the day a second person needs access, when you want a separate pipeline (say, one for renewals), when you pass 200 contacts or 50 deals, or when follow-up should run on its own through workflows, email or reports. That is where Starter or Pro makes sense.
Getting started
Create your workspace
Sign up with your email and verify it. No card is asked for, and the full trial starts at once.
Pick a first goal
Choose between managing deals, answering customers in one place, serving customers after the sale, or automating follow-up. Naffes opens that tool with a short spotlight tour, and the Start guide ticks itself off as you do the real work.
Bring your data
Import contacts, companies and deals from CSV, XLSX, XLS, XLSM or ODS files with field mapping, and add custom fields for anything you track today.
Shape the pipeline
Rename the five stages and adjust win probabilities and typical days to match how you actually sell.
Install it on your phone
After sign-in, Chrome and Android show a one-tap Install card; on iPhone, use Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Test what you might need later
Use the trial days to try automation, email and reports, so you know before the trial ends whether the free plan is enough.
Nothing to download
Naffes is a cloud CRM that runs in the browser: no installer, no version to patch by hand, and every user is always on the current release. If you want it as an app, it is an installable web app (PWA) for phones and desktops that opens full-screen with the Naffes icon and a right-to-left Arabic layout.
Organisations that must run the CRM on their own servers can have the Naffes team deploy it there. That option is not sold online; ask through the contact page.
Moving to a paid plan
Starter adds email in the CRM, integrations, reports, workflows, meetings and documents, with higher caps on users, pipelines and records. Pro adds the help desk, the AI assistant, forecasting and data quality. Enterprise has no usage caps and is quoted by the sales team. Naffes costs 60% less than global CRMs, and current prices are on the pricing page.
- Upgrade from Settings → General → Billing, as the owner or with a role that can administer the workspace.
- Pay in Saudi riyals on Tap's hosted checkout, monthly or yearly; dollar prices are for display only.
- Apply a coupon before paying, and every plan card shows the discounted price.
- The plan switches on once the charge is captured. Plan changes are not prorated.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period and can be undone before then; after that the workspace returns to the free plan rather than being locked.
- If a renewal charge fails, it is retried daily for 7 days while the paid plan stays active, and then the workspace is suspended until payment goes through.
The fine print
- Caps are enforced by the server, so neither the interface nor the API can go past them.
- One user means no shared pipeline and no team hand-offs.
- No workflows, no connected mailbox, no reports and no marketplace apps on the free plan.
- The owner can download the workspace's core data as a JSON file from Settings → General → Workspace → Danger Zone. The file covers core tables only and leaves out uploaded files, tickets, invoices, emails and custom objects.
- The WhatsApp channel only works through a Twilio account of your own, and the message bill comes from Twilio, not Naffes. The WhatsApp CRM page explains the setup.

Questions
Questions 6
Is the free plan really free, with no time limit?
Yes. It is a forever-free plan with no card on file, covering deals, contacts, companies, tasks, notes, conversations and quotes for one user, within the caps listed on the pricing page.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. The trial starts the moment you sign up and runs for 14 days; verifying your email unlocks every feature. Payment details are asked for only if you choose a paid plan.
What happens to my data when the trial ends?
It all stays. The workspace moves to the free plan without being locked. Records above the free caps remain, but adding new ones past a cap requires an upgrade.
Can I invite a colleague on the free plan?
No, the free plan has one user. Inviting teammates needs Starter or Pro; each plan's user cap is on the pricing page.
Can I use WhatsApp on the free plan?
Yes, with one condition. The conversations inbox is not plan-gated, so you can answer customers from it on the free plan, but the channel itself needs your own Twilio account with an approved WhatsApp sender, and Twilio charges for the messages. Automated sends need workflows, which start on Starter, so test the full setup during the trial.
Is the interface fully in Arabic?
Arabic is the default interface language, with a right-to-left layout, and any user can switch to English. Pipelines, stages and fields can carry both an Arabic and an English name. A few builder screens, such as the web-form builder, still show some labels in English.
