Set up a sales pipeline and its stages in Naffes CRM
A pipeline in Naffes CRM is the sequence a deal moves through from first interest to close. Every workspace starts with a ready-made one, but your numbers only mean something once the stages mirror how you actually sell, with a probability and a usual duration on each stage.
Where you start
Every new workspace gets a “Sales Pipeline” with five stages named in Arabic and English (Qualified, Contact Made, Proposal, Negotiation, Won), each with a win probability, a usual duration and a color. You can adapt it or add more pipelines, for example one for new business and one for renewals.
- Role: managing pipelines is for admins only.
- Default plan limits: 1 pipeline on Free, 3 on Starter, 10 on Pro and no cap on Enterprise. The server refuses a pipeline beyond your plan's cap and shows an upgrade prompt; the free trial itself is uncapped.
Set it up
Open pipeline management
On Deals, open the pipeline switcher above the list and choose Manage all pipelines (
/pipelines), or Add pipeline.Create or open a pipeline
Select the pipeline to open its page. The Stages tab lists each stage with its value and deal count.
Add stages
Click Add stage. Type the name in your language; the name in the other language is optional, and if left empty everyone sees the same name. Set Win probability (%) and Usual time in this stage (days). A new stage lands at the end, after Won in the starter pipeline, so move it into place in the next step.
Order them and pick the primary
Move stages with the up and down arrows until the order matches the buyer's journey. Click Make primary on the pipeline to use by default.
Choose who can see it
Under Who can see this pipeline, choose Everyone, Specific teams or Specific people, then save. With teams or people, pick at least one, or nobody will see it.
Example: an IT services pipeline
| Stage | Win probability | Usual time |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery | 10% | 7 days |
| Demo | 30% | 10 days |
| Proposal | 50% | 14 days |
| Negotiation and sign-off | 75% | 21 days |
Probability drives weighted value: a 100,000 deal in Proposal counts as 50,000 in the weighted forecast. Usual time drives stuck alerts: with the default multiples, a deal in Proposal is flagged Watch after 14 days, Stuck after 28 and Frozen after 42. Leave usual time empty and that stage raises no alerts at all, which suits a stage where waiting is normal, such as waiting for the customer's purchase order. To change the multiples, see configure deal alerts and loss reasons.
Limits and notes
- The primary pipeline cannot be deleted; deleting any other pipeline removes its stages and cannot be undone.
- Deleting a stage that holds deals may leave those deals needing a new stage.
- Stage colors cannot be edited in the stage editor.

Questions
Questions 2
Does each user see stage names in their own language?
Yes, when both names are filled in. Arabic-interface users see the Arabic name and English-interface users see the English one.
How many pipelines do I need?
One per sales process whose stages genuinely differ. New business plus renewals is a common pair; splitting by rep needs no separate pipelines, because the Whose deals switch (Mine, Team, All) on the deals list already does that.
