Reports
Create, export and schedule a report in Naffes CRM
Each report in Naffes CRM answers one question: how many deals did each owner win this quarter, or how much open value sits in each stage? Once it exists, download it as CSV or have it emailed on a fixed schedule.
Requirements
Reports are included from Starter up and live in the sidebar under Insights → Reports (/reports). On the Free plan the screen shows an explanation card with an upgrade button. Compare plans.
Steps
Start a new report
On Reports & Insights, click New report and give it a name that states the question, such as Won deals by owner.
Choose the data and the chart
Pick the Entity (Deals, Contacts, Companies or Activities), the Chart type (Bar, Line, Table, Funnel or Scorecard) and the Metric: Count for any entity, plus Amount sum, Amount avg and Health avg for deals.
Group, set the period, create
Under Group by, choose Day, Week, Month, Stage, Owner, Status, Priority or Country. Under Period, choose anything from Last 7 days to This year. Click Create.
Run or export
Click Run to view the result, or Export CSV to download the rows for Excel or Google Sheets.
Schedule it
Click Schedule, enter a Cron expression such as 0 6 * * MON (every Monday at 9 AM Riyadh time, because the hour is read in UTC), add Recipients separated by commas, and click Save schedule. A scheduler checks every minute and sends whatever is due.
Cron expressions you can copy (Riyadh time)
A cron expression has five fields, in order: minute, hour, day of month, month, day of week. The part that catches people out is the hour: it is read in UTC, not your local time, because the schedule dialog sends no time zone with the schedule. Saudi Arabia is three hours ahead of UTC, so subtract 3 from the hour you want (4 for the UAE and Oman).
| Expression | Arrives | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 0 5 * * SUN | Every Sunday at 08:00 Riyadh time | A pipeline review at the start of a Sunday–Thursday week |
| 0 4 * * * | Every day at 07:00 Riyadh time | A daily activity check |
| 0 6 1 * * | The 1st of each month at 09:00 Riyadh time | The monthly sales pack for leadership |
| 30 13 * * THU | Every Thursday at 16:30 Riyadh time | An end-of-week wrap-up |
The example shown in the schedule dialog, 0 9 * * MON, arrives at noon Riyadh time, not 9 AM. After the first delivery, check the time the email actually arrived.
Troubleshooting
- The attachment is CSV although PDF was selected: the schedule dialog lists PDF and Excel under Format, but the emailed file is always CSV. Manual PDF or Excel export is not available either.
- Nothing to preview yet: no records match the chosen period. Widen the Period or switch the entity.
- You want live numbers on screen rather than a file: install a ready-made dashboard or build your own.
Questions
Questions 2
Can one schedule go to several people?
Yes. Put every address in Recipients, separated by commas, and they all receive the same file.
Is there a lead-source attribution report?
Source attribution reports exist only in the API for now. On screen, the Leads & marketing dashboard template covers sources and campaigns.
