Build a custom dashboard in Naffes CRM

A custom dashboard in Naffes CRM holds the numbers you personally watch: a KPI for open pipeline, a funnel of stages, a leaderboard of reps. Every widget comes down to three choices: what you measure, how you group it and over which window.

Steps

  1. Create the board

Under Insights → Dashboards, click New dashboard and name it. To rename it later, click the name itself.

  2. Add the first widget

Click Add widget to open New widget. Enter a Title, then choose the Metric from the catalog, for example won deal value or new conversations.

  3. Set grouping and window

Under Group by, pick the dimension, such as owner, pipeline or month (KPI widgets ignore it). Under Time window, pick a period, or leave it empty to measure all time.

  4. Pick the visualization and size, then save

Choose the widget type under Visualization and its footprint under Size, then click Save changes. Repeat until the board is complete.

  5. Filter the whole board

Use the Filters bar to narrow every widget to an owner or pipeline. Its Window option replaces each widget's own window, and affected widgets are marked. Clear all resets everything.

A faster start: Build manager dashboard creates a ready board for the messaging desk with new, waiting and unassigned conversations, first human response time and the bot-to-human handoff rate. You can also install one of the eight ready-made boards and adapt it.

Limits worth knowing

  • Custom dashboards are personal. Colleagues do not see them, and Share only copies the page URL.
  • Export downloads the board's layout as JSON, not a PDF or Excel file. For downloadable data, use reports with CSV export.
  • Removing every widget from a board prompts you to delete it or keep it for later.
  • The home dashboard (/) is separate from your boards: it shows four fixed KPIs (open pipeline, won this month, win rate, at-risk deals) plus a six-month revenue trend.

Questions

Questions 2

Can a widget show ticket or invoice data?

Yes. The catalog includes metrics beyond sales, including the service and finance metrics the ready-made boards use.

Why does a widget disagree with a report?

Usually the window. Check whether the Filters bar is overriding the widget's own window, and whether the report uses the same period.
